NYAA owns several domains such as nyaa.se, nyaa.eu and nyaa.org when it hold the server down unexpectedly. Other users that were left in schock assumed that it was about the recent change in copyright law violations that made the NYAA pulled it themselves than the authorities. No official statements then were released after the time being.
( I saw a site link on facebook releasing a statement according to NYAA but I dont know if it was reliable enough to be called official, I waited for HorribleSubs statements regarding the matter but failed to do so. )
