[ FEATURE ] Let's talk about Webtoons

Surprisingly, the manga otaku (not all) have been an eye for webtoons, or webcomic. I was hesitant at first, but I went along as I discover more interesting stories. So I wanna let you ,perhaps, know firstly, what is webcomics or webtoons then show some notable works you guys might wanna check out

Defined by Crunchyroll, A webtoon is a less common term used to
describe an animated comic strip that is distributed via the internet which are often created by amateur creators.
Defined by Wiki, In South Korea, webcomic is not a common term. Instead, Koreans use term 'webtoon' (a portmanteau of “web” and “cartoons”) for webcomics. Webtoons are highly popular in Korea, for several reasons.
---
Different types of comics
---

There are many online comics in many countries: including the US, France, Korea, and Japan, since the internet has become the most prevalent tool for modern day society. However, where the webcomic is popular the most is South Korea.
---
In Japan, the idea of webcomic is online version
of published manga or a four panel comic strip.
-
In France, the genre of the webcomic is confined to
a kind of illustrated personal diary.
-
The US web comics are mostly three or four-panel
structure like newspaper comics or a comic page.

As I have mentioned, before I was hesitant on reading webtoons for two reasons.
First, I always thought my loyalty for Japanese comics, my fascination towards manga proved through buying materials from legal distributors and if ever the mass will bought Korean comics than Japan comics ,somehow, I feel agitated by the fact that someday it'll return the favor like what happened to Philippine music towards Kpop from Jpop. Second,  I dislike their names and I will barely recognize them in name.
---
Anyhow, disregarding the second reason I decided to check it out and yeah ~ that's when I kinda look up to it now (I still feel fear for the first reason).
So far, here are the lists you may wanna check out but before that.

Naver Comics is an area that provides Naver users with manhwa comics and original comic pieces. Most significantly, it offers comic book, genre fiction, and free manhwa. Users must pay publishers to use their comic book and genre fiction contents. On the other hand, free manhwa, webtoon, is provided by professional artists weekly for free. Moreover, Naver promotes amateurs to be writers of the comic series through the process of rising in status. Status tends to be raised by being selected as "Top Challenge Manhwa" after posting "Challenge Manhwa" as amateurs.

Lists under Naver Comics

[ Listings ] New Season : Spring Anime of 2016

So it's never a new kind of experience that the season is over and you cant get seem to move on from an interesting series to end also.
So here's a list of new and interesting stories so far for this Spring Anime 2016.

Sakamoto desu ga? - If you ever come crossed to a humorous, sensitive guy like Sebastian Michaelis and kinda loss your balls for your girl , fear not! this guy is definitely may fall your girl on their knees will proving to them that your species still stings like a bee! The series is pretty serious on getting your funny bones at max and second characters cant match up with the main protagonist way of living to it's seductive character designs at finest.

Bungou Stray Dogs - All loves Fantasy/Supernatural, Mystery and Adventure right? then might as well not miss this one. Bungou Stray Dogs focuses on a detective agency that runs their special members (having supernatural powers) against top ranked underdogs of the society with the same special abilities. Then when the secret service recruits the main character who started to tangle their lives altogether. Character stories pretty much rounds up the series and it's very interesting. One more thing, IF EVER WANTED TO END YOUR LIFE IN A FUN AND PAINLESS WAY, check the character's suicidal note and advices. Haha. jk

Sousei no Onmyouji - One of the manga adapted turned anime series this year. It's definitely the modern way of Kekkashi (manga/anime). The battle scenes are superb and really production consuming! Unlike Kekkaishi, the two young characters in Sousei Onmyouji is tied by an oracle and how far they might go together is promising. Looking for an active fight? Sousei is the answer!

Hundred - Rakudai Chivalry definitely gave me one of the best benefit of the doubt I've ever had and so far, Hundred also. If I were to compare Hundred, its mecha is substantial like Cross Ange, its fanservice is hinted like  Rakudai and Saijaku no Bahamut and fighting alien/foreign monters is very much like in Black Bullet. The series is very much worth mentioning to your otaku friends.

Seisen Cerberus - So far, the series isnt as much as promising to it's name but worth your time. Since it's much or less than three episodes upon airing, the story is so far already there and characters, protagonists or not are still vague. Thinking to drop it? No, not yet! dont! It may be the dark horse of the season.

Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu - or simple Re:Zero. Remember [ERASED] or Bokudake ga Inai Machi's Satoru time relapse? then try imagine the show on a game. It's what or somewhat Re:Zero is about. The main character is trying to solve his existence to an unknown era and then one day he found out that he has an incredible power. It sure is a reminder that before to watch this series, there's a ZERO episode.

Boku no Hero Academia - It's probably the SAITAMA of the season, with not much of the hype going on. It settles with young heroes to polish their skills against the villains while their attending school. Every arc in the manga shows promising, deep rooted story, as far as I know, every panels in the series/anime is what was included in the manga. It feels like youre rereading the same exact details. It's fun, exciting and promising how many episodes or season the series will hold. :)
