Fullmetal Alchemist the Live Action is casted this winter 2017. Few more names where announced as Ryousuke Yamada to lead the role of Edward Elric and Winry Rockbell for Tsubasa Honda. Further announcements will be held as the team will start working the film this June at Italy and continue it to Japan on August.
Fumihiko Sori (live-action Ping Pong) was said to direct the film. To it's perceptive Sori said "I want to create a style that follows the original manga as much as possible. The cast is entirely Japanese, but the cultural background is Europe. However, it's a style that doesn't represent a specific race or country." Sori also said he could not yet reveal details on how Alphonse will be presented in the film, but is confident fans will be satisfied.
